By 9 UT on Sunday there was no station to work with. This made my Sun evening very slow and struggle to log new calls.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prepared for full 48h. Interesting that mentally had no issues all the way down however physically the second 24h was more convenient than the first part.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The propagation was quite good. Never had so good JA sunrise opening like now however quite a lot country mult remained on the band.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Which killed the end&#8230;<br \/>\nAt around 21:00 UT on Sunday some incredible noise started covering the whole 40m band.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2397 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ha3ln.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/40.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ha3ln.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/40.jpg 800w, https:\/\/ha3ln.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/40-300x180.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ha3ln.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/40-768x461.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ha3ln.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/40-624x374.jpg 624w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><br \/>\nLooked around on different bands and even on webSDRs to see if it&#8217;s local but seemed really wide spread. From that moment W3LPL became a QRP like station and could be heard only on peaks. Struggled to grab all the closer stations and switched off at 22:30. The net 3000 QSO mark could have been reached. Hard luck&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Overall, it was a great contest. An elevated 1\/4 vertical (4 elevated radials) was used. I&#8217;m really keen to see what will be the difference if the Yagi will be on its place.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The &#8220;Steel Nerve&#8221; Award goes to 9N7AA. It&#8217;s unbelievable how S53R tolerated the pile-up called &#8220;zoo&#8221;.
