Being heartened up of the 10m stack I built the second Yagi for the 15m band as well. However the HFTA does not predict that big advantage over the single antenna config but having that small extra gain towards NA and the ability for direction diversity made me to push for it. Obviously, the 16m\/7m distance is not much for 15m stacking but the first measurements was a complete disappointment. Due to the coupling the upper antenna was so-so OK’ish but the lower one resonated exactly on 20.5 MHz. Tried to turn to 90 degree off and couple of other combinations but the end result was the same. The lower antenna for sure way too low unfortunately and possibly due to the short stacking distance it kills the antenna pair. This topic needs to be continued…<\/p>\n
