\nI’ve been preparing for this contest pretty long I even requested a special call to be mult. What can I say, HA25LN (25 years ago I made the first QSO with YO2BBX on 80m CW) sounded pretty weird almost to everyone I called. Started on 20m with promising big NA signals. Even the big guns remained silent after my first try and asked back several times or simply just returned as HA2HLN… I struggled for 1.5 hours to receive the stream of callers but this was not my time. Almost no QSO logged with CQ only with S&P. I was not very focused even at the beginning I had lots of other things in my head so did not took too long to give up…<\/p>\n

Lesson learnt…<\/p>\n

It was interesting when a well known and respected western EU contester complained about my 100W signal which was causing “very QRM” for him. He was running to USA very well and I received this signal towards me. Cannot really believe that 700Hz away my monstre 100W could cause anything to this S9+60dB power level. Meanwhile another station only 350Hz away did not noticed anything.<\/p>\n
