Oh boy, the 40m vertical is not an SSB antenna, especially not in a major… Guess most of the CQs worth only heating the ionosphere without answers. On Sat evening decided to change the break strategy to focus on high bands but with this the 6 ointers are completely lost…
On top of this DVK was lost due to never seen before interference. Most probably it arrived through some of the new switching cables. Sorry for the bad audio quality. Unfortunately I realized this only after several hours into the contest.
Seems the preparation time is never enough…
Beside this the CME with killing 10m on Sun made a great 15m run. Series of stns called just above the noise level but in complete silence resulting easy log.
